Content Marketers Know More Softwares Than Any Other Job

I'll Die On That Hill. We Do.

Day 22/100

Hey content “always learning the next thing” marketer

Look, I know you're exhausted. You've barely mastered prompt engineering and now there's another tech monster lurking around the corner.

But here's the truth: while everyone's obsessing over crafting the perfect LLM prompts, the real battlefield is shifting to integrated content distribution platforms.

The winners won't be the best prompt engineers or the SEO wizards. They'll be the marketing technologists who can design systems that amplify human creativity through connected automation.

I'm betting my career on this shift, and you should too.

This is what I’m focusing my time on learning.

What software should content marketers be learning next? Here are my top three predictions:

1. All-in-One Workspaces

Tools like Coda and Notion that serve as custom-built command centers, pulling in integrations from all your different platforms into one organized system.

Why learn it now? We're drowning in disconnected tools. Having one source of truth that connects everything from analytics to content calendars is becoming essential, not optional.

2. Visual Creation Platforms

Tools like Framer that let you create beautiful, distinctive websites and visual assets that actually stand out.

Why learn it now? While AI can generate generic visuals and layouts, truly striking design remains a human advantage – and increasingly, your visual identity is your competitive edge.

3. AI Agents & Workflows

Understanding how to build, customize and deploy AI agents that handle specific tasks across your content workflow.

Why learn it now? Individual AI tools are just the beginning. The real power comes from connecting them into automated workflows that can transform how content teams operate.

What software are you learning right now? Hit reply - I'm always looking for new skills to prioritize!

P.S. Would you like me to do a breakdown on AI agents? I fee like everyone I talk to has a different understanding on what they are.
