Yesterday I asked you to send me your website + topic for a totally free competitor gap analysis. (Just give me feedback :D).

And I got 56 replies total. You guys are amazing.

Here’s what I learned so far.

What worked.

The Priority/Adjacent/Consider breakdown.

People loved knowing:

- What to write first (Priority topics)
- What to write next (Adjacent topics)
- What to save for later (Consider topics)
- What they already have (so they don't duplicate)

What surprised me:

Most of you already had 15-30 URLs on your topic.

You didn't need MORE content ideas.

You needed to know:
- What specific angles you're missing
- Which gaps to fill first
- What NOT to write (because you've covered it)

The tool does this, and there are a lot of things we can tweak to make it look better.

What I'm improving:

Based on your feedback:

- Considering adding search volume to each topic suggestion (weirdly cost prohibitive for like 20 keywords, working on it.
- People want to know what competitors cover what topics. On this. Designs below.
- One-click to create the brief in Penfriend. The next obvious step is a one click straight into Penny writing your new blog for you.

Also, we gather a lot of data. So we’re going to make sure you get access to it all inside of Penfriend. That’s a high priority for me.

Basically: Gap analysis → content brief → write → publish.
